spotlit poem . . . I fished for a word

i fished for a word
to set my world in order
stopped still, heard water

(c) A/ H/ K. H-H (April 2018)

I wrote this just before I started blogging here and it was an early post. I reposted it for my one year blog anniversary last year. I do so again now in this time I’ve been struggling to write poems, at least that feel right to me. I’m confident of this one and what it speaks of. I try to take its advice for the good life. I’m posting with that graphic tablet sketch of it again – I have been drawing a bit this week, which is great to help do something, maybe I’ll try to draw it again with pencils, but I’m not sure it’ll come out any better, I’ve started to feel a bit fond of my naff drawings, and unrepentant about using them.
