despite repeated magpie warnings

acknowledged to the full
she ploughs on with the unsayable
righting the unwritable
untying inextricables
pointlessly reciting litany of error
catalysed by infidelity
he just would not see
so rewinding to potentials
before this hidden crippling
seeking another opportunity
losing all that’s left
